How to play:

• You start with 30 bid points to spend on drivers. You can select as many drivers as you like but your total expenditure can not exceed 30 bid points.
• The cost of each driver is listed beside the drivers name.
• The aim is to select drivers that will be classified in the top 10.
• You will be given championship points based on the following scoring system for the top 10 finishers.

  Winner	15		6th	5
  2nd	12		7th	4
  3rd	10		8th	3
  4th	8		9th	2
  5th	6		10th	1

• So you pick the drivers and get championship points depending on where they finish in the top 10.
• The person with the most championship points (not bid points - those 30 points are only for buying drivers for each race) at the end of the season wins huge bragging rights.
• Now you're asking how the cost of each driver is determined. Let me tell you ...
  • The cost of each driver is actually the average number of points they have scored for the last 5 races based on our scoring system listed above.
  • So logically the cost of each driver will change throughout the season since we only use the last 5 races.
  • We determine the initial cost of each driver based on results from last year as well as a rigorous mathematical model to determine the cost for new drivers and drivers who have changed teams.
  • No not really. We didn't use a rigorous model. We guessed, but we're pretty smart and it's all good so just make your picks and enjoy the season.

Tips & Strategy:

• Don't jump on the bandwagon. (Pick drivers who have been scoring lower than they should, not higher.)
• Your choice of "dark horse" (Sutil or Buemi or ...?) can make a big difference to your position.
• Picking all backmarkers is a poor strategy.
• Consider the weather -- certain drivers do better in the rain, and more backmarkers score.
